Costello Video have won many awards over the last 25 years for our outstanding Debutante Ball DVD productions. Our high production levels ensure that each student has a film like production of the night to keep forever. We have the latest digital cameras producing true wide screen
images. These are HDV ready for the new
generation of LCD and plasma television screens. Additional specialist
equipment such as projectors and screens are also available at an additional cost. Lighting
and sound facilities are also part of our standard kit.
Having worked in over 40 reception/function venues in and around Melbourne, we know exactly where to position our cameras to get the best shots.
Schools have a choice of one, two or even three camera productions based on the number of couples in the presentation. We film all the arrivals, interview the students, get plenty of shots of the kids having photo's, rehearsing, fixing flowers to lapels etc. This section is edited to a soundtrack of current music and has a video clip feel. The presentation is captured with class. We ensure the curtsy is in full frame for each couple and the audio from both the master of ceremonies and the audience is mixed so that you can clearly hear the announcements but also the applause of the crowd. Dances are filmed with care to ensure each couple gets seen in close-ups and full room shots and again the audio is mixed for a clear stereo sound. Speeches, parents dances, family photo time and wrap up interviews with the students make each DVD a treasured keepsake for years to come. Each DVD is fully chaptered with over 30 points so you can skip to the moments that are special to you.
Schools or committees are delivered the finished products (COD) within 10 days of the event (earlier delivery is available by special request).
